الْقِيَامَةِ — the Day of Resurrection. A definite noun, 'the Resurrection', closing the possessive chain 'terrors of the Day of Resurrection', in the after-a-possessor case. As the final owner it makes the whole chain definite.
From: The Preacher's Legacy →وإن كان الذي يبدو عليه في الدنيا إنما هو عمله لا سريرته فيوم القيامة تبدو عليه سريرته ويكون الحكم والظهور لها
If what appears about someone in this world is only his deeds and not his inner self, then on the Day of Resurrection his inner self will be revealed and the judgment and manifestation will be for it.
الْقِيَامَةِ — of Resurrection. This noun is the owner in a 'Day of Resurrection' pairing, set directly after 'day' with no word for 'of', and so it sits in the genitive owner slot. Its definiteness flows back to the preceding 'day', making the whole phrase the specific Day of Resurrection.
From: Creation Points to Resurrection →وَمَنْ يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ يَلْقَ أَثَامًا يُضَاعَفْ لَهُ الْعَذَابُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَيَخْلُدْ فِيهِ مُهَانًا إِلَّا مَنْ تَابَ وَآمَنَ وَعَمِلَ عَمَلًا صَالِحًا
And whoever does that will incur sins; the punishment will be doubled for him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide in it abased, except for whoever repented and believed and did a righteous deed.
الْقِيَامَةِ — the Resurrection. A noun with al- 'the', definite, 'the Resurrection', the owning half of 'the Day of Resurrection'. Only this final noun keeps its 'the', spreading definiteness across the pairing. As the possessor it takes the genitive ('of') ending.
