الَّتِي تَعُوقُهُ عَنْ سَيْرِهِ عَلَى هَذَا الصِّرَاطِ الْمُسْتَقِيمِ،
which prevents him from walking on this straight path,
الصِّرَاطِ — the path. A definite noun ('the path') paired with the demonstrative before it, standing in the genitive as object of the preposition. The al- marks it as the specific path in view. It owns the adjective 'straight' that follows.
