Arabic vocabulary
How to say “the right of” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
غَيْرُ خَافٍ عَلَى عَاقِلٍ حَقُّ الْمُنْعِمِ،
The right of the benefactor is not hidden from a sensible person.
حَقٌّ — the right of. This noun, 'the right / the due', is the real subject of the 'is not hidden' statement, and it opens an owner-and-owned pairing with the benefactor-word that follows. As the first half it stays bare and takes its definiteness from the owner ahead. So the sentence means 'the benefactor's due is not hidden'.
