Arabic vocabulary
How to say “the wealth” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَثَمَّرْتُ أَجْرَهُ حَتَّى كَثُرَتْ مِنْهُ الْأَمْوَالُ،
So I let his wage grow until it multiplied into wealth.
الْأَمْوَالُ — the wealth. A definite plural noun with 'the', and its nominative ending marks it as the subject, the wealth that grew. It is named after its verb, and the case ending, not word order, is what tells you this is the doer of 'multiplied'.
