Arabic vocabulary
How to say “their nests” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
يُنِيبُونَ إِلَى ذِكْرِي كَمَا تُنِيبُ النُّسُورُ إِلَى وَكُورِهَا،
They return to My remembrance as the eagles return to their nests.
وَكُورِها — their nests. This noun carries a 'their' possessor (-ha) glued to its end, pointing back to the eagles, so one word means 'their nests'. The leading wa- is not a fresh 'and' clause here but part of the written form; the core grammar is the possessor reaching back to the plural birds. It is the destination the eagles head for.
