Arabic vocabulary
How to say “then throw yourself” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
قَالَ فَارِمْ بِنَفْسِكَ مِنْ هَذَا الْجَبَلِ
He said, 'Then throw yourself from this mountain.'
فَارِمْ — then throw. A command verb 'throw', addressed to one person, with fa- fused on front. Here fa- draws a consequence from the previous exchange ('then, in that case, throw'), tying the order to the admission just made. The single-addressee imperative shape carries the 'you (one person)' built in.
