فَقَامُوا يَنْقُلُونَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ مَا سَمِعُوهُ وَوَعَوُوهُ،
They then began transmitting from the Messenger of God what they had heard and understood.
يَنْقُلُونَ — they transmit. A present-tense verb with a plural 'they' subject carried in its ending, describing an ongoing activity. It follows the 'they set about' verb to spell out the continuing action, a common Arabic pairing where one verb starts and a present verb shows what is underway.
