How to say “to go” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
قَالَ لَا، مَا أُرِيدُ أَنْ أَجُوزَ مَعَهُمْ إِلَّا قَرِيبًا
He said, "No; I do not intend to go with them except nearby."
أَجُوزَ — to go. A present verb with 'I' inside, here in the goal-aimed (subjunctive) ending forced by the 'to' particle before it, meaning to pass along or accompany. The ending marks it as the intended act.
