And the Lord of Majesty introduced Himself to the lovers through His names and attributes.
وَتَعَرَّفَ — and made Himself known. 'And' plus a past-tense reflexive-shape (form V) verb 'made Himself known / introduced Himself', subject coming next. The reflexive shape: He gave knowledge of Himself.

تَعَرَّفُوا — they seek to know. A Form V verb, the 'ta-' plus doubling pattern that here means making oneself acquainted, seeking to be known. The '-u' ending is the plural 'they'; the form is past, read as habitual after 'whenever'.
