  لَأَسْقَيْنَاهُمْ — we would have given them. A cluster of pieces: an emphatic 'surely' on the front, a 'we' past verb, and a 'them' object suffix on the end. The 'surely' is the marker that opens the result of a contrary-to-fact 'if', so it announces 'we would surely have...'. The verb's built-in 'we' is God, and the suffix is the people who would have been given.
