Arabic vocabulary
How to say “abundantly flowing” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى وَأَنَّ لَوْ إِسْتَقَامُوا عَلَى الطَّرِيقَةِ لَأَسْقَيْنَاهُمْ مَاءً غَدَقًا
God, the Exalted, said: If they had remained steadfast on the path, We would have given them abundant flowing water.
غَدَقًا — abundantly flowing. An adjective describing the water as abundant and flowing. It follows its noun and matches it in being indefinite and in case, both wearing the same object-style ending, the Arabic way of binding an adjective to its noun by agreement. So it specifies what kind of water would have been granted.
