How to say “whiteness” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
بَيْنَمَا نَحْنُ جُلُوسٌ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه و سلم ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ، إذْ طَلَعَ عَلَيْنَا رَجُلٌ شَدِيدُ بَيَاضِ الثِّيَابِ،
While we were sitting in the presence of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, one day a man with very white clothes appeared to us.
بَيَاضِ — whiteness. A noun, 'whiteness', owned by 'intense' before it, giving 'intense of whiteness'; as the owner in the pairing it takes the genitive ending. It in turn heads a further 'of' pairing with 'the clothes'.
