How to say “with the recitation” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
أَنَّهُ يَصْعَدُ الْمِنْبَرَ، وَيَبْتَدِئُ الْقَارِئِينَ بِالْقِرَاءَةِ،
That he ascends the pulpit, and the reciters begin the recitation.
بِالْقِرَاءَةِ — with the recitation. The preposition bi- ('with') fused to a definite noun 'the recitation', marking what they begin with. The preposition governs the noun in the genitive; al- makes it definite. The verb 'begin' pairs with bi- to mean 'set about / start in on'.
