Arabic vocabulary
How to say “within” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
جَوَاذِبُ الطَّبْعِ إِلَى الدُّنْيَا كَثِيرَةٌ، ثُمَّ هِيَ مِنْ دَاخِلٍ،
There are many natural attractions to the world; they come from within.
دَاخِلٍ — within. An indefinite noun in the genitive because the preposition 'from' governs it. Together they form 'from within', locating the source of the pull inside the person rather than outside. The missing 'the' is what makes it general 'within' rather than one specific inside.
