قَالَ أَرْبَعِينَ أَلْفًا دِرْهَمًا تَسْتَعِينُ بِهَا عَلَى مَا أَنْتَ عَلَيْهِ
He said, "Forty thousand dirhams to help you with your present condition."
تَسْتَعِينُ — you seek help. A present-tense verb 'you seek help', addressed to a single listener via its second-person shape. It opens a clause describing the purpose of the money.
