Arabic vocabulary
How to say “as if it” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
كأنها رضيت بهم ورضوا بها وهذا أبلغ من مجرد كونها مرضية فقط
As if it pleased them and they were pleased with it, and this is more expressive than merely being satisfactory.
كَأَنَّهَا — As if it. A comparison-and-clause word fused with -ha (it/her), 'as if it'. This particle sets up a 'as though...' likeness and forces its pronoun into the object-style form; the -ha is the life. English uses 'as if' the same way.
