For it is fitting for them, so it was likened to their contentment with it, just as they were pleased with it.
رَضُوا — they were pleased. A past-tense verb 'they were pleased', carrying its plural 'they' subject in the form. The plural ending marks the doers as a group; it states their side of the mutual contentment.
