and to be pleased with all the companions, among other fundamentals of the Sunnah,
وَالتَّرَضِّي — and to be pleased. This is a Form V verbal noun ('expressing one's pleasure / saying may-God-be-pleased') made definite, coordinated into the list of creed-articles. It names the act of invoking God's good pleasure on people. It pairs with the preposition next to say pleased WITH whom.
