Arabic vocabulary
How to say “bounty” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَيَأْمُرُكُمْ بِالْفَحْشَاءِ وَاللَّهُ يَعِدُكُمْ مَغْفِرَةً مِنْهُ وَفَضْلًا
He urges you to immorality, while Allah promises you forgiveness from Him and bounty.
وَفَضْلًا — and bounty. Two pieces: wa- 'and', adding a second thing God promises, plus the noun 'bounty'. The wa- coordinates this noun with 'forgiveness' under the same verb, so it too is an object and carries the object (accusative) ending shown by its double-mark tail.
