وَلَا يَنْتَقِصُ هَذَا بِمَنْ ادَّعَى النُّبُوَّةَ مِنَ الْكَذَّابِينَ، فَإِنَّ حَالَهُمْ كَانَتْ ضِدَّ حَالِ الرَّسُولِ مِنْ كُلِّ وَجْهٍ
Nor is this negated by those who falsely claimed prophethood, for their condition was the exact opposite of the Messenger's in every way.
ادَّعَى — claimed. This is a past-tense verb in the pattern meaning to claim falsely, 'he claimed', with its 'he' subject built in. It heads the relative clause; the form carries the sense of asserting something for oneself without right.
