The more a servant remembers, the purer his heart becomes and the clearer the truth appears to him.
وَاتَّضَحَ — and the clearer it becomes. The connector 'and' fused to a past-tense verb, 'becomes clear', adding a second consequence. The verb carries its own subject slot to be filled by the noun later in the clause.
