How to say “daughter” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
لِأَنَّ اِبْنَتَهُ عَائِشَةَ كَانَتْ تَحْتَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،
Because his daughter Aisha was in the household of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace,
اِبْنَتَهُ — his daughter. A noun, 'daughter', with a 'his' tail pointing back to Abu Bakr; it is the subject of the reason clause but wears the object-like case because the 'because' particle before it governs it. The tail tracks the owner across the sentence.
