Arabic vocabulary
How to say “debates” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
أَوْ يَتَخَلَّصَ مِنْ بَأْسِ اللَّهِ بِكَثْرَةِ الْبُحُوثِ وَالْجِدَالِ،
Or will he escape from the punishment of God by many debates and arguments?
الْبُحُوثِ — debates. A definite plural noun, 'debates / researches', completing the 'abundance of debates' pair and genitive as the owner. With 'the', it points to such disputation as a known activity. The pairing reduces his hope to a heap of mere talk.
