How to say “dismiss” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
مالم يُخرجهُ ذَلِكَ إِلَى إِسْقَاط الْأَمر وَالنَّهْي وَالثَّوَاب وَالْعِقَاب والوعد والوعيد
As long as it does not lead him to dismiss command and prohibition, reward and punishment, promise and warning.
إِسْقَاطِ — dismiss. A verbal noun, 'the dropping or annulling of', and the first half of an 'of' pairing with the command that follows — 'the annulment OF the command'. Arabic packs 'the dropping of X' by setting the action-noun directly before X, with no separate 'of'.
