How to say “fear Me” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
إِلَى قَوْلِهِ فَلَا تَخَافُونَهُمْ وَاخْشَوْنِي إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ
To His saying, "So do not fear them, but fear Me if you are believers."
وَاخْشَوْنِي — and fear Me. This token fronts the wa- 'and', here flipping from prohibition to a positive command, and carries a command-form verb with a 'me' object pronoun. The wa- sets up the contrast 'do not fear them BUT fear Me'. The verb is an imperative addressed to 'you (plural)' with God as its object.
