How to say “Firas” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
قَالَ أَبُو فِرَاسٍ أَرْوَحُ الْقَلْبَ بِبَعْضِ الْهَزْلِ تَجَاهُلًا مِنِّي بِغَيْرِ جَهْلٍ،
Abu Firas said: I enliven the heart with some levity, feigning indifference, but not out of ignorance.
فِرَاسٍ — Firas. A personal name closing the 'father of...' pairing as its owner, so it takes the genitive 'of' ending that locks the two words into the single name. The case is set by the noun's slot in the kunya chain, not by the wider sentence.
