فإياكم وفضول المطعم، فإنه يسم القلب بالقسوة، ويبطئ بالجوارح عن الطاعة، ويصم الأذان عن السماع للموعظة،
Beware of excess in food, for it marks the heart with hardness, slows the limbs from obedience, and deafens the ears from hearing admonition.
يُسِرُّ — it fills. A present-tense verb with the subject 'it' built in, referring to the excess. It describes an ongoing effect on the heart, the first in a list of harms, and takes the heart as its object next.
