Arabic vocabulary
How to say “give glad tidings” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّّمَ يُبَشِّرُكَ بِالْجَنَّةِ
And the Messenger of Allah gives you glad tidings of Paradise.
يُبَشِّرُكَ — gives glad tidings to you. A present-tense 'gives glad tidings' carrying an attached 'you' as its object; the doubled middle consonant marks the intensive 'announce good news' pattern. So one word means 'he brings you good news'.
