Arabic vocabulary
How to say “harmful” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَبَدَأَ الصدّيق بِدُخُولِهِ ليَكُون وقاية لَهُ إِن كَانَ ثَمَّ موذ
So the Truthful One began to enter it to be a protection for him if there was any harm.
مُؤْذٍ — harm. An active participle 'a harmer / something hurtful', the subject of 'there was', nominative — but a weak-ending word, so it shows the indefinite '-in' tanwin form. Any hurtful thing that might lurk.
