How to say “has glorified Me” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وإذا قال ﴿مالك يوم الدين﴾ قال الله مجدني عبدي، فإذا قال ﴿إياك نعبد،
And when he says, "Master of the Day of Recompense," Allah says, "My servant has glorified Me." And when he says, "You alone we worship,"
مَجَّدَنِي — has glorified Me. A past-tense verb 'glorified' with an attached '-Me' object referring to God, inside the quoted reply. The completed-action form carries a sense of an act with lasting weight, and its subject 'my servant' follows, so the verb holds the object suffix while leaving the doer to come after.
