How to say “his strength” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ الْحَرْبُ بَيْنَ دَاءِهِ وَقُوَّتِهِ نَوْبًا فَهُوَ مُتَرَدِّدٌ بَيْنَ الصِّحَّةِ وَالْمَرَضِ
And among them are those for whom the struggle between his disease and his strength is in bouts, so he is wavering between health and illness.
وَقُوَّتِهِ — and his strength. The 'wa-' joins the second party to 'between', and the noun carries the owner ending '-hi' (his). It keeps the genitive demanded by 'between' without repeating that word, completing the two-sided 'between his disease and his strength'.
