How to say “wavering” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ الْحَرْبُ بَيْنَ دَاءِهِ وَقُوَّتِهِ نَوْبًا فَهُوَ مُتَرَدِّدٌ بَيْنَ الصِّحَّةِ وَالْمَرَضِ
And among them are those for whom the struggle between his disease and his strength is in bouts, so he is wavering between health and illness.
مُتَرَدِّدٌ — wavering. An active participle, a noun-like word built from a verb that names the doer of an ongoing action, here 'one who wavers'. It describes the person as continually swinging between two states, the participle conveying that the wavering is a settled, ongoing condition.
