May Allah protect us and you from His trials with a protection that brings us by it into His mercy.
فِتْنَتِهِ — His trials. The noun 'trial' with a possessor 'His' fused on the end, the owner being God. The suffix supplies the owner and makes it definite. Governed by the preceding 'from', it carries the 'of' (genitive) ending.
