How to say “honor” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
مُرِيدًا لِسُلُوكِ طَرِيقٍ مُرَافِقُهُ فِيهَا فِي غَايَةِ الْقِلَّةِ وَالْعِزَّةِ،
seeking to follow a path whose companion in it is in the utmost scarcity and honor,
الْعِزَّةِ — honor. A definite noun, 'honour / nobility', coordinated by the preceding 'and' with 'scarcity' and so genitive in the same governed phrase. The pairing says the few companions are not just rare but precious. It closes the description of the lonely yet honourable road.
