مُرِيدًا لِسُلُوكِ طَرِيقٍ مُرَافِقُهُ فِيهَا فِي غَايَةِ الْقِلَّةِ وَالْعِزَّةِ،
seeking to follow a path whose companion in it is in the utmost scarcity and honor,
غَايَةِ — utmost. A noun, 'the utmost / extreme', heading a possessive pair with the following noun, 'the utmost OF scarcity'. With the 'in' before it, it forms the idiom 'in the extreme of', a way of saying 'extremely'. As the front member it binds straight to the noun ahead.
