How to say “increase” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وليكثر من ذكر الله، ومن تلاوة القرآن، ومن مجالسة الصالحين
Let him frequently remember God, recite the Qur'an, and seek the company of the righteous.
وَلْيُكْثِرْ — and let him increase. A third-person command, 'let him do much / increase', made by prefixing a command-marker onto the present verb so its ending shortens. The verb literally orders him to make something frequent, and what he should do much of is spelled out in the 'from' phrases that follow.
