Arabic vocabulary
How to say “indeed they” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
ثُمَّ إِنَّهُنَّ دَعَوْنَ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،
Then indeed they called for Fatima, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
إِنَّهُنَّ — indeed they. The emphatic 'indeed' particle fused with a feminine-plural 'they' ending, so it both stresses the statement and supplies its subject, a group of women. The stress is grammatical weight on the whole assertion, and the attached pronoun names the female group.
