وَالْجِنُّ — and the jinn. An 'and' plus 'the' on 'the jinn', a further subject joined to the list. Its subject ending matches that of 'the angels', keeping it in the same included role.

الْجِنَّ — the Jinn. This noun carries 'the' and its ending marks it as the object of the creating verb, the thing made. The accusative ending, not word order, is what tells the reader this is what was created rather than the creator.
