فإن انتفعت وعقدت مع الله عقدا ، فقد توسمت فيك الخير ،
For if you benefit and make a covenant with God, then I have perceived goodness in you,
وَعَقَدْتَ — and you have made. This is the bound wa- 'and' plus a past-tense verb 'and you made, you bound' with the attached -ta 'you'. The wa- coordinates a second condition with the first, both addressed to a single male; the doer is the suffix on the verb.

عَقَدَ — he convened. A past verb 'convened/held' carrying its own 'he' subject; the completion particle before it sharpens it to 'had convened'. It governs the following noun as the thing held.
