How to say “mastery” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَالْمَشْهُودُ لَهُ بِالسَّبْقِ الْكَرِيمِ فِي الْبَلَاغَةِ وَالْبَرَاعَةِ،
and the one acclaimed for his noble precedence in eloquence and mastery,
وَالْبَرَاعَةِ — and mastery. A noun 'mastery' with wa- joining it to 'eloquence' before it. Here the wa- pairs two coordinated fields under the same 'in', so this noun shares that preposition's genitive without it being repeated. The pair names the twin arts of his distinction.
