How to say “noble” in Arabic, with pronunciation and real example sentences from OpenArabic texts.
﴿فَتَعَالَى اللَّهُ الْمَلِكُ الْحَقُّ لا إِلَهَ إِلا هُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ﴾
Exalted is Allah, the True Sovereign; there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Noble Throne.
الْكَرِيمِ — the Noble. This adjective describes the Throne and matches it in genitive and definiteness, which is why it shares the same ending. Because adjectives trail their noun and copy its case, this one is pulled into the genitive set up two words earlier, even though it describes the Throne and not the Lord.
