How to say “one acclaimed” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَالْمَشْهُودُ لَهُ بِالسَّبْقِ الْكَرِيمِ فِي الْبَلَاغَةِ وَالْبَرَاعَةِ،
and the one acclaimed for his noble precedence in eloquence and mastery,
وَالْمَشْهُودُ — and the one acclaimed. A passive participle 'the one acclaimed/witnessed-for' with wa- on front. The wa- adds yet another epithet. The participle's passive sense names him as the one for whom testimony is borne; it carries the subject-style ending, in step with the chain of titles.
