رِوَايَةِ — a narration. This noun is the object of the preceding 'in' and sits in the genitive, and it is also the first term of an 'of' pairing completed by the next word. As the lead term it draws definiteness from what follows, building 'narration of (Muslim)'.

In another version: 'When I sat between her legs, she said: Fear Allah and do not break the seal except with its due right. So I refrained from her though she was the most beloved to me, and I left the gold that I had given her.'
رِوَايَةٍ — version. This noun is governed by 'in', so it takes the 'of' (genitive) ending; its indefinite form marks it as one unspecified alternate account. It names the source of the variant wording that follows.
