When he heard this, he said: 'God forbid! We do not say he is a tyrant king, but a noble prophet. Whoever follows him is among the blessed, and likewise, whoever follows Moses is like one who follows Muhammad.'
كَرِيمٌ — noble. This noun lacks 'the' and ends in the indefinite mark, 'noble', describing the prophet before it. As a following adjective it agrees in indefiniteness, so the two read together as 'a noble prophet'.
From: Signs of the Messenger in Medina →ثم ذكر سبحانه المقسم عليه فقال ﴿إِنَّهُ لَقَوْلُ رَسُولٍ كَرِيمٍ﴾
Then Allah mentioned what He swore upon, saying: 'Indeed, it is the word of a noble Messenger.'
كَرِيمٍ — noble. The adjective 'noble', following and agreeing with 'Messenger' in being indefinite and in the same governed form. The matching endings are what tie the description to that noun rather than to anything else.
From: God's Eternal Word →ومن ذلك قوله ﴿فَلا أُقْسِمُ بِمَا تُبْصِرُونَ وَمَا لا تُبْصِرُون إِنَّهُ لَقَوْلُ رَسُولٍ كَرِيمٍ﴾ إلى آخرها
And from that is His saying: 'I do not swear by what you see and what you do not see. Indeed, it is the word of a noble Messenger,' to the end of it.
كَرِيمٍ — noble. The adjective 'noble', following and agreeing with 'Messenger' in being indefinite and in the same owner form. The matching endings tie the description specifically to that noun.
