فقراء المهاجرين أتوا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فقالوا ذهب أهل الدثور بالدرجات العلى، والنعيم المقيم
The poor among the emigrants came to the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, and said: 'The wealthy have taken the highest ranks and everlasting blessings.'
وَسَلَّمَ — and peace. 'And grant peace' — the closing wish, joined by 'and' to the blessing.

so he entrusts the matter to Him and is satisfied with what He apportions for him.
فَسَلَّمَ — so he entrusts. The connector 'so' fused to a past-tense verb, 'hands over / entrusts', carrying its own 'he' subject. It marks the practical result of recognising God's wisdom, and the thing handed over is named next.

Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
وَسَلَّمَ — and blessings. The connector 'and' joined to a past-tense verb closing the blessing, 'and gave peace', a frozen part of the set formula. It works as fixed devotional wording, not an ordinary clause.
