How to say “purifying” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَأَوْلَى أَنْ يَكُونَ لِمَغْفِرَةِ اللَّهِ سُلْطَانٌ فِي تَطْهِيرِ الْعَبْدِ مِنَ الْخَطِيئَةِ
It is more fitting that God's forgiveness have the power to cleanse the servant of sin.
تَطْهِير — purifying. An action-noun ('purifying / cleansing') naming the deed, in the genitive ending under the preceding 'in'. As a verbal noun it still reaches forward to take its own object, heading the chain 'purifying the servant'.
