How to say “raise you” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَأَخَذْتُهُ فَقُلْتُ لَأَرْفَعَنَّكَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،
So I took him and said, "I will certainly raise you to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace."
لَأَرْفَعَنَّكَ — I will certainly raise you. A present-tense verb braced as a sworn certainty: the leading emphatic letter and the doubled '-anna' ending together brand it 'I shall surely...'. Its attached 'you' pronoun is the object, the man who will be raised before the Prophet.
