وقد شرط أن يأخذ من الأغنياء أحد ثلاثة أشياء طوقا أو إكليلا أو سوارا من الذهب
He stipulated that he would receive from the rich one of three things: a necklace, a crown, or a bracelet of gold.
الأَغْنِياءِ — the rich. This is the noun governed by 'from', in the genitive and made definite by 'al-', naming the rich as those he would accept payment from.
