How to say “three” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وقد شرط أن يأخذ من الأغنياء أحد ثلاثة أشياء طوقا أو إكليلا أو سوارا من الذهب
He stipulated that he would receive from the rich one of three things: a necklace, a crown, or a bracelet of gold.
ثَلاثَةِ — three. This is the front half of 'three of things', joined with the count, in the genitive as the owner of 'one' before it. The number and the counted noun form a possessive-style link.
