Arabic vocabulary
How to say “rose” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَارْتَقَى بِي الْحَالَ حَتَّى صَارَ إِبْلِيسُ مِنْ جُنْدِيَّ
My condition rose so high that Iblis became one of my soldiers.
فَارْتَقَى — so rose. The fa- prefix means 'so/then', drawing a consequence, attached to a past-tense verb meaning 'rose'. So one word carries the connector and the verb, advancing the speaker's story to its next stage.
